It is an American a monthly magazine, it covers the latest developments in cars, electronics, communications, tools, energy, aviation, science, space exploration and much more.

The magazine has three sections:

-What’s New: a collection of how-tos, product recommendations, and other fun technology gadgets.

-Headlines: the latest questions in the fields of science, technology, nature and discovery.

-How 2.0: it tells how to build various objects on your own or how to repurpose existing ones.


The magazine was founded in 1872 by Edward Youmans, it disseminated the ideas of Charles Darwin, Thomas Huxley, Lous Pasteur, Thomas Edison, John Dewey, etc. Those editions were too academic in the 1900’s the magazine had a dramatic change, easy and short articles with more photographs and illustrations.
